Justice For Rolin

& All Souls

We Believe In The Inherent Good Within Every Soul—And The Call To Serve Others With Integrity

Yet, we must confront an undeniable truth: our systems are broken. Together, we can renew Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness for all.

Do encounters with law enforcement leave you feeling uneasy or anxious? It doesn’t have to be this way—for the public or for the good people working within our justice system. Our justice system should protect our rights, not control or abuse us. Restoring accountability is the first step toward meaningful change, beginning within our local communities.

A National Problem With Local Consequences

Our nation grapples with a longstanding history of systemic issues within the justice system. The tragic death of George Floyd is widely known, but countless other cases remain hidden or ignored.

What happened to Rolin Hill is even more horrifying—and it could happen again to anyone if we fail to restore accountability. Consider this: Rolin could have been your family member or even you.

Who Was Rolin Hill?

  • Rolin Hill was an African-American Eagle Scout.
  • On June 4, 2024, he was arrested at a 7-Eleven in Virginia Beach, Virginia, for misdemeanor trespassing.
  • Just six days later, he was pronounced dead.

Initially, authorities reported that Rolin suffered a “medical emergency,” leading to the quiet dismissal of his charges. Four months later—after questions arose at a political event—his death was officially ruled a homicide. Five Virginia Beach Deputy Sheriffs were fired.

But the full story is even more disturbing:

  • 32 surveillance cameras captured the incident, yet no footage has been released.
  • Concerned whistleblowers allege that Rolin was severely beaten and restrained using pallet shrink-wrap.
  • The Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office has a history of obscuring evidence, violating codes, and falsely claiming transparency.
  • In the past seven years, 19 deaths have been reported in the Virginia Beach Jail.

Despite public outcry and documented efforts to raise awareness, officials—including Sheriff Holcomb—remain silent. The investigation drags on, and no charges have been filed.

Even local media has failed the public. WAVY 10’s management blocked respected journalist Regina Mobley from reporting on whistleblowers’ accounts and other evidence of abuse.

Restoring Grand Jury Rights: The Foundation of Accountability

Reinstating Grand Jury Rights is essential for government accountability across all levels—local, state, and federal. By empowering citizens through non-governmental oversight, we can address systemic failures and ensure justice is served.

This includes bringing justice to Rolin Hill and others who have suffered due to systemic abuses. Accountability in Rolin’s matter will be possible when we restore the rule of law and reclaim the Grand Jury’s rightful role as a check on government power.

Here’s How We’re Fighting to Restore Justice

1. On November 6, 2024, we filed a Writ of Mandamus in the Virginia Beach Circuit Court, demanding decisive action and accountability.

Read it here.

2. This site includes a First Amendment Petition to RESTORE ACCOUNTABILITY.

Sign and share it here.

3. We’re addressing this as part of a national movement through a Supreme Court Writ of Certiorari, demanding the restoration of Grand Jury Rights to hold government accountable.

Visit Restore Grand Jury Rights here.

The Time To Act Is Now.
