Petition for Redress: Restoring Constitutional Accountability and Grand Jury Rights

Pursuant to Articles I, III, IV, V, and VI, as well as the Fifth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution:

We, the citizens of the United States, exercise our First Amendment right to petition the government—including councils, courts, and sheriffs—to address systemic constitutional violations and restore accountability through the reestablishment of Rule-of-Law Grand Jury oversight. This is a call to action for justice, liberty, and the protection of our rights.

As guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment and reaffirmed in the 1992 United States v. Williams decision, Justice Scalia declared:

    • “The Grand Jury is an institution separate from the courts, over whose functioning the courts do not preside.”

    • “The Grand Jury serves as a protector of citizens against arbitrary and oppressive governmental action.”

We demand that elected sheriffs fulfill their constitutional duty to facilitate independent, non-government Grand Jury oversight. This ensures the redress of grievances and upholds justice in alignment with our Constitution and Supreme Court rulings.

Public officials who violate their constitutional oath are subject to removal under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment. We demand immediate action to replace any noncompliant officials with elected sheriffs committed to restoring Rule-of-Law Grand Jury Rights.
